Breath as an Anchor
Yoga plays a vital role in my everyday life. It starts every morning as soon as I take my first conscious breath. Pranayama helps expand our diaphragm capacity while acknowledging the connection between our mind, body, and emotions. Encouraging me to find the root cause of my subconscious thoughts, deeper stretches, and developing emotional intelligence. Breathing has been my anchor during this pandemic and nonetheless injustice we are witnessing in today's society. Achieving self-mastery over my own mind, body, and emotions will serve as a guide while getting to a higher state of consciousness.
