Chicago: Mindful Moment Instructor
To facilitate the implementation of the Mindful Moment program at Austin College & Career Academy in Chicago, IL. No mindfulness or yoga experience necessary, only experience doing community work or working with youth.
Key responsibilities include delivering the morning recordings and Mindful Moments, engaging with students and staff through yoga, breathing, and mindfulness sessions, building positive relationships to boost participation in the program, tracking performance and suggesting improvements, and managing emergency procedures while maintaining required certifications. School Based Intervention Specialist
The School-Based Intervention Specialist is responsible for implementing the Mindful Moment program at Colorado High School Charter. This role focuses on promoting mindfulness, yoga, and emotional self-regulation techniques for students and staff. No prior yoga or mindfulness experience is required; community work or experience with youth is essential.
Key responsibilities include facilitating daily mindfulness practices, managing the Mindful Moment Room as an alternative to suspension, providing classroom instruction, and fostering emotional wellness within the school community. The specialist will also track program effectiveness through assessments, referrals, and participation metrics while maintaining positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
