Wouldn't be who I am today without it

Yoga and mindfulness practice has had a positive effect on my life since I was a young boy. My family was always very into various spiritual and physical practices, some of those practices included yoga and meditation. I would not be the person I am today if I didn't have that upbringing. Today my everyday personal practice consists of multiple advanced breathing exercises. I especially enjoy the advanced breathing because even when I actually don't feel like working out or doing yoga poses, I can still just sit up straight and benefit from a properly executed advanced breathing technique. My favorite breathing technique is the breath of fire. In my journey to build it up to the recommended 3 minutes at a time I learned to really appreciate the exercise and its various benefits. It also moved obstructions I was having with other exercises. The bellows breathe and the stretch pose became a lot easier once I mastered the breath of fire.
